Delivery Automation & VIP Operations Platform
CLIENT: Vodafone, CATEGORY: APPLICATIONS
/ THE REQUEST
Vodafone required a structured operational toolkit to support its Delivery Management teams responsible for corporate clients across mobile and fixed networks.
The objective was to reduce manual intervention in high-frequency operational activities, improve execution accuracy, and enable efficient handling of large volumes of provisioning and configuration requests.
At the same time, Vodafone needed to harmonize data originating from multiple internal databases and operational processes without triggering costly redesigns of existing core systems.
/ WHAT WE DID
Piksel designed and implemented a dedicated Operations Orchestration Platform, structured into modular sections enabling mobile and fixed network management activities.
The platform automates key operational tasks such as APN activation, SIM substitution, service extraction, billing parameter management, number reservation, bundle modifications, and corporate client data retrieval.
A central capability of the platform is the orchestration and harmonization of data originating from multiple backend databases and operational workflows. Instead of modifying internal core processes, the platform acts as an intelligent coordination layer, aligning outputs and ensuring consistent execution results across systems.
This orchestration approach significantly reduced the need for invasive engineering changes within legacy environments, avoiding high redesign and integration costs while preserving stability of existing business-critical systems.
High-volume operations can be executed in batch mode, with built-in result visualization and export functionality to ensure transparency and traceability of all executed actions.
Role-based access control enables activation of specific modules based on user profile, ensuring operational governance and minimizing the risk of unauthorized actions.
The architecture supports testing on sample datasets prior to mass execution, reducing operational risk and enhancing execution reliability.
/ THE OUTCOME
The implemented platform significantly reduced manual workload for Delivery Management teams, standardizing frequently requested operational procedures across corporate client accounts.
By orchestrating heterogeneous data sources through a centralized control layer, Vodafone achieved harmonized operational outcomes without restructuring underlying systems.
Automation of repetitive tasks improved execution speed and accuracy, while centralized visibility into operation outcomes strengthened control and auditability.
Overall, the solution enhanced service delivery efficiency, operational quality, and cost-effective scalability in managing complex telecom corporate environments.
